1. According to your experience, what are the common aspects between the eLene-EE dissemination and the dissemination of the other eLene projects? This is a very stimulating, but difficult question for me. According to my experience in the eLene projects, I can say that there are two core elements which inspired my job. The first one is that a dissemination addresses people, so we have to tell projects as a real life experience to get in touch with our target groups. To this aim, it can be very useful to produce video-interviews and to prepare some multimedia presentations where each partner introduces him/herself, tells his/her own activity and shows his/her most relevant results…. Furthermore, multimedia materials can also suggest positive emotions and feelings which can help to create new contacts. The second one is that we need a permanent network, because an effective dissemination requires both immediate and long term follow up actions. In consideration of it, I’ve learnt that dissemination is, so to say, a never-ending activity which becomes effective when it covers the whole development and all the aspects of a project. At this purpose, a strong partnership collaboration is really important. In addition, in the case of a European project, it is also necessary to promote integration of national backgrounds and habits of partners. 2. Do you have any suggestions for someone who begins a dissemination action? To be honest, I do not believe that there is a magic formula. In my personal opinion, it is crucial to bear in mind that dissemination has only one constraint: people. People to be contacted and involved are the goal, somewhat the heart of every dissemination action. Anything else has a supporting role, no matter how wonderful it may be. For instance: if your promo video of the project is not well circulated, it is not important how it works well because it is not useful. This is the only recommendation, the rest depends on your talent and attitude; so don’t be afraid to be creative, because a successful dissemination also needs it. |
